Made by maverick winemaker Gonzalo Grijalba, this natural Tempranillo is all about purity, freshness, and a true respect for the land. On the palate, this Tempranillo is brilliantly juicy and vibrant, with layers of red berry fruit, a touch of spice, and a clean, slightly earthy edge. The finish is fresh, lively, and wonderfully moreish – no oak required.

Gonzalo Grijalba is one of Spain’s most outspoken and exciting winemakers. Born into a family of growers, he saw first-hand the toll industrial farming took on both land and people. Armed with degrees in biology and oenology, Gonzalo returned to craft wines that respected nature above all else. His Gran Cerdo Tempranillo is a natural red wine that’s organic, vegan, and proudly minimal intervention – a cheeky nod to the “big pigs” (bankers) who told him winemaking wasn’t a ‘real asset.’
