Pajzos, Harslevelu Selection 2015

100% Harslevelu from the famous Tokaji region in the north east of Hungary. The grapes are aged in a mixture of stainless steel and new oak barrels for 6 months and the 2015 vintage was very warm with heat waves leading to ripe, concentrated grapes. This is a full bodied white, full of concentrated, ripe pears and apples with a creamy texture and complex sweet spices and ginger. The  acidity works with the ripe, creamy texture to create an elegant, food friendly wine. 

This is the perfect white to try with white meat, roasted pork loin with apple sauce would work a treat.
