This award-winning Portuguese white wine comes from Quinta da Raza, a historic family estate in the Basto sub-region of Vinho Verde. The Teixeira Coelho family have been making wine here for over 400 years, blending tradition with innovation to craft wines that show off the region’s true character.

The best Alvarinho Trajadura blend Vinho Verde starts with hand-harvested grapes grown on sustainable, often organic vineyards. Alvarinho brings the structure, citrus zing and floral aromatics; Trajadura adds softness, stone fruit flavours and a touch more body.

Once harvested, grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the fresh, fruity profile. The wine rests on its lees for a few months to gain texture and complexity before bottling. It results in a balanced, refined wine that’s both refreshing and elegant – and a regular winner on the international awards circuit.
